You will have a very warm welcome. In January 2018 we will start work on The Dream of Gerontius which we will be performing with the Dorset Guild of Singers at the Lighthouse on 28 April 2018.
The Broadstone Choir is a friendly choir based in Broadstone in Dorset. We currently have over 70 singers, men and ladies. Four concerts a year are performed, in local venues, mostly of sacred choral music but also including some secular pieces. We often have orchestral accompaniment and usually engage professional soloists. Our musical director is David Fawcett and our accompanist is John Radford. John is organist and choirmaster of the Quintet Group of Parishes in and around Cranborne and is also accompanist to Wareham Choral Society.
Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings from 7.30pm till 9.30pm at Broadstone Methodist Church. To cover expenses we charge subscriptions of £40 per term which includes hire of scores.
We now have a Facebook page. Please leave your comments on it or see what we've been up to!
If you would like to join us, the best times are January or September each year. Send us an email by going to the contact us page.
